Music at Assembly

We would like a variety of people to lead music at our Assembly this summer. You may be a polished worship leader or a traditional chorister (or anywhere in between…). You may be Young, or more “Mature.” You might do it Alone or maybe you’re part of a Group. All are welcome as long as you commit to leading us in a JOYFUL NOISE to the LORD. If you would be willing to lead one song or perhaps an entire set, please contact Phil Rosenberger by email at phila.rosenberger@gmail.comIf no one volunteers it will be a very quiet Assembly.

Hotel Accommodation:

Everyone is responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A group of rooms have been reserved at the Cobblestone Inn in Harper ((620) 896-2400). Those rooms are available on a first-come-first-serve basis until June 18. If you know you need a room, we encourage you to register early. If the Cobblestone fills up, you may need to travel a bit further for accommodations. Some in-home accommodation may be available – let us know if you need those accommodations.

Guest Speakers and Topic:

We are very excited about the speakers we have lined up for our Summer Assembly. They are Alan Bradfordand Terry Ishee of Forge America.  A summary of the topic to be discussed is below.

From Surviving thru Reviving to Thriving

Join us for an empowering and transformative gathering designed to guide the church on its journey from simply surviving to actively reviving and ultimately thriving. This comprehensive look at church addresses essential topics to help your congregation harness its full potential.

Session 1, “Understanding Psalm Spirituality: Churches Navigating Seasons of Surviving, Reviving, and Thriving,” will equip your church with the knowledge to navigate challenges and opportunities, acknowledging disorientation as a natural phase but emphasizing the importance of not remaining stagnant.

Session 2, “Moving Beyond Survival Mode: Helping Churches Discover Their Purpose,” attendees will be guided to uncover their church’s purpose and foster a culture of understanding, establishing clarity around the church’s mission and core values.

Session 3, “Church on the Move: The Work of a Reviving Church,” will assist churches in identifying effective strategies and measuring success, providing the tools for developing missional strategies that encourage growth and movement.

Session 4, “Creating a Legacy: How Thriving Churches Steward Movement,” will help churches gain clarity on God’s guidance for their future, inspiring them to dream and envision their calling for the next 3-5 years.

By participating in these carefully curated sessions, your church will acquire fresh insights, practical tools, and actionable strategies to successfully navigate the challenging path from survival to revival and finally to thriving. Don’t miss this opportunity to elevate your congregation and create a lasting legacy.
