Healthy Boundary Training
SCMC hosts a yearly healthy boundaries training course (most commonly on the first Saturday in November alternating between HB 101 and HB 201 as well as moving between the northern and southern regions of the conference). Tonia Martin is our regularly scheduled trainer and we occasionally have others join to assist her in running our training. In the midst of a world where boundaries are often resented and at times resisted, we also find ourselves in need of healthy boundaries in our lives. Healthy Boundaries Training addresses the need for boundaries, the theology of boundaries and power and vulnerability. During this time together we will look together at what it means to live with healthy boundaries in various areas of our lives. All SCMC credentialed ministers are required to complete a boundary training every 3-5 years in order to keep their SCMC credential in good standing. Check back here for information about upcoming classes.
