Kansas City Church Plant Update
From July to August, 2016, Moving, investigation, observation, exploration, and study about the target people in the Kansas City area.
· From September to October, 2016, it is a time of preparation, intercessory prayers, winning spiritual warfare and making friends with the target people.
It has been said, “If you want to plant a successful church, first of all before the church planting work/tasks begin, you have to win a war in the spiritual realm”. We believe that the spiritual warfare is real and fact, so we need to pray hard before we launch the church. We also believe that the greater is Jesus Christ who is working with us and abiding in our hearts than the devil who try to hinder our works. We are more than conquerors.
Now, we have already begun meetings with South Sudanese and Ethiopians groups on Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening; we also meet with some of these groups on Monday and Friday for prayer meetings.
I have been meeting with the Southern Sudanese group since we came to the Kansas City. They are 70 to 80 people including the children. What you see happened on the photos: 1 the group worshiping together, 2 I was praying for the children.
