Cultivating an Incarnational Church

with Brad Brisco

Western District Conference & South Central Conference

October 30, 2014, 9:00am – 3:00pm

Shalom Mennonite Church, Newton, KS

Brad’s Invitation: You may be like many other leaders today who have read several books on the missional movement, perhaps have attended a conference or two, and as a result have become convinced that the missional ethos is vital to the life of the church in a post-Christian context. However, while convinced of the importance of the conversation, you just need some practical help and guidance to get started. This one-day event is formatted around teaching, interactive discussion, and strategic step taking to encourage your existing congregation or new church plant on the journey of faithfulness to the mission of God.

You will receive resourcing to help everyday Christians who are searching to follow Jesus and live their faith in the real world to better understand and practice what it means to live with mission in the normal routines of their daily lives.

The Presenter: Brad Brisco is currently the Church Planting Strategist for a network of churches in Kansas City; where he recruits, trains and coaches church planters. He holds a doctorate in the area of missional ecclesiology; his doctoral thesis was on assisting existing congregations in transitioning in a missional direction. He has taught college level courses for more than twelve years. He also serves on the National Leadership team forForge America Mission Training Network and is co-founder of the Sentralized Conference. Brad is the author of Missional Essentials, a twelve-week small group study guide, and The Missional Quest: Becoming a Church of the Long Run. He blogs regularly at missionalchurchnetwork.com

Cost – $30:  Register by October 22 – online registration.
