A Message from the SCCMW

Although Retreat at Camp Mennoscah is now over, memories will live on in the lives of the women who were able to attend.  The overall theme of Joy reminded the women that we experience joy when laughing or crying.  We also need to nurture joy and then share it; pass it on.  Also, we are excited to say that we have been able to award two grants to two different women.  We helped one student, from Albania, pay for her text books at Hesston College.  Another mother of six children attends one of our South Central Congregations. She came from Mexico and struggles with language and cultural issues.  A grant was provided to help pay for her to attend “Love and Logic” parenting classes.  What a joy it is to help women in our congregations.
