Summer 2016 Job/Service Opportunity

SCC is excited about the Vacation Bible School program we are beginning during the summer of 2016.  The program will include four young adults from around the conference who will be led by Director Grace Tijerina. Grace and her staff will work to introduce young people to Jesus by leading eight weeks of vacation bible school at congregations around the conference.  In addition they will be developing leadership skills as they work together to plan and carry out the bible school curriculum.  South Central Conference will provide lodging, meals, and transportation beginning and ending in Hesston, Kansas throughout the summer and is also providing stipends to staff for their work with this team.  If staff are attending a Mennonite college, there is a possibility that part of the stipends will be matched by their university.  Please consider serving in this role this summer and share this opportunity with those who you think have gifts for this kind of ministry.
