Cathy Wagler Licensed for Ministry

We are overjoyed to announce that Cathy Wagler has been licensed for ministry as Co-network Director of South Central Mennonite Conference (SCMC).  As network directors, Cathy and her husband, Howard (ordained for pastoral ministry since 1992), work to support and encourage the congregations and pastors of SCMC.  Cathy was licensed by the SCMC Ministerial Leadership Team on December 10, 2020 and participated in a service of licensing with her home congregation, Journey Mennonite Church, on Sunday January 31, 2021.  Click below to watch that licensing service.  Joining in support and encouragement of Cathy from left to right are Cheri Flaming (Journey Elder), Howard Wagler, Cathy Wagler, Clarence Rempel (SCMC Regional Ministry Coach), Jim Ostlund (Journey Pastor), and Eric Miller (Journey Pastor).
